Fencing Companion SAS cannot be held responsible for the data processing performed by this third-party service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ARTICLE 5 \u2013 REQUIRED DEVICE PERMISSIONS (ANDROID)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To function properly, the Application requests specific system permissions<sup><\/sup>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bluetooth \/ Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE):<\/strong> Required to scan, connect, and communicate in real time with the connected fencing apparatus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location (depending on Android version):<\/strong> On certain Android versions, location permission is technically required by the operating system to perform Bluetooth device scans nearby.
